They Suck and The Silencer

We are proud to be co-producing They Suck and The Silencer, both feature films currently in development, with Kelsey Matheson. For more information on each project, check out our What's New section, and our In Development section.

Triple Take is forming a new reading group for writers and performers alike! The Implings will accept new scripts (theatrical, television, short film, features) from emerging and established Canadian writers who would like to hear actors perform their work as a reading. They will then receive feedback from the audience and the actors who performed the piece, enabling them to create another draft, if they so desire. Our first meeting was a private/closed function to work out the kinks - please check back for further updates on future public meetings!

No Sweetheart Required

TORONTO, January 20, 2009 – Grab a friend, grab your ex, grab your mom or grab your sweetheart and head to No Sweetheart Required this February – a cabaret evening of short and sassy comedies and musical interludes featuring performers such as David Hein (co-creator of My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding), First Nations mezzo soprano Marion Newman, comedians June Morrow and Liam Doherty, and musical and jazz veteran Bremner Duthie. Great news! Triple Take Productions has reached an agreement with two different production companies to co-produce plays in the Fringe of Toronto Festival in 2010. Triple Take will produce a new play co-written by Regan Macaulay and Allison McWood, entitled The Aquarium, with Good Egg Productions. Magmoe Media is our producing partner for two new plays by R.J.
