The Toronto Fringe Festival and Footpath Productions presents:

We’ve all heard it - that trite announcement at the beginning of a show, a reminder to patrons to please turn off their phones and unwrap those cough candies. Well, not this summer, Toronto! It’s time for a new kind of theatre, a new kind of audience, a new kind of… superhero?

This year, The Toronto Fringe Festival welcomes Dina: the Burlapped Crusader, a new superhero for a new time. She not only wants her audience to leave their cell phones on, but set them to ring. LOUDLY! And to text her during the show - her number is in the program. And she has a twitter feed. And a facebook profile. And a tumbler account. Why? She is desperate to make a connection, and she wants to connect with YOU.
