Judy developed her passion for documentary and postproduction at Ryerson University’s Radio and Television Arts Program. In the summer of ’98, Judy traveled to London, England where she shot a series of work exploring the land and its people. Later that year, she traveled to Madagascar to produced two documentaries – one exploring the socio-economic situation leading to the prevalent sex-trade, the other focusing on the local disabled person’s organization and their struggle for social acceptance. Both were produced for Environmental Vision Exchange. Judy has worked at Alliance Atlantis and was most recently a segment producer for U8TV (Life Channel). As well, she was the Editor for the sitcom Lord Have Mercy! produced by Leda Serene Films that aired on Vision TV, APTN, Showcase and Toronto One. For Triple Take, she has directed Paradise Lust, and performed in Multiple Madness I, Where are the Birds?, Music and Laughter, and Sketch TV. She was Director of Photography for The Foreign Film and Watching Mr. Body (both 2nd Unit). Judy’s company, SPOO! Productions, also co-produced Watching Mr. Body and The Scary Bitch Project (for which she was also the editor/postproduction supervisor). She co-wrote The Paradise Lust Romance Series.
