Kelsey Matheson

Kelsey Matheson-McCord is an Eco-Entrepreneur co-owning three socially and environmentally responsible companies. She was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and began dancing and acting at the age of six. Years later her career allowed her to travel the world working professionally as a model, actor, writer, personal trainer, and event coordinator.

In 1998, Kelsey moved to Toronto to focus more seriously on her acting career and in 2002 was accepted at Circle in The Square Theatre School in New York City. To name just a few of her credits, she appeared as a guest star in the Comedy Network series Puppets Who Kill, supporting female lead in the feature film Living Death, and the short film celebrated at TIFF 2005, Leo. In the midst of acting, Kelsey started working for the First Weekend Club helping to build and expand the organization. FWC is a cross-Canada, grassroots organization that promotes great Canadian film through numerous initiatives.

These diverse experiences motivated her to find new creative ways to develop unique opportunities for herself, so she left the film industry and now uses her skills to run three separate companies remotely. The first is Anamaya Resort, a stunning eco-lodge and yoga retreat center in Montezuma, Costa Rica. The second company, Be Packs is a trendy backpack and bag company that helps put children through school in Africa. Thirdly, b.flow is a playful yoga clothing and active wear company that chooses a different charity every year to support
