Past Interviews…The filmmakers behind “Hunters Moon”

Check out my interview with some of the folks behind the film Hunter’s Moon” at the 2019 Blood in the Snow Film Festival:

(Dir. Matt Campagna) CANADIAN PREMIERE (88 mins) A lavish launch party for a gaming app is interrupted by a priest who condemns the party guests as “marked for the beast,” they are convinced it’s a publicity stunt until they find the body of the first victim.

MY TAKE: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the werewolf creature…I’m adding it to my favourites, which include the wolves from Ginger Snaps, Underworld, and of course American Werewolf in London. Though set in the here and now, this film has an 80s vibe to it. I’m reminded of a couple moments from American Werewolf in London, actually. The house party reminds me of other films where the majority of the attendants become the hunted, as well. Quite the cast, including Art Hindle and Colm Feore! Steven Morana stars, and Marco Timpano as the goofy sidekick brings in a performance that may remind you of Jack Goodman (played by Griffin Dunne) in American Werewolf in London. Ari Millen totally channels actor Cillian Murphy, too!
