TTP Alumnus in Next Stage play: “Sonnets for an Old Century”

Column 13 Actors Company is to remount its successful production of SONNETS FOR AN OLD CENTURY by José Rivera at the Theatre Passe Muraille Backspace.

In a place between here and the afterlife, a gathering of ordinary souls en route to their final resting place are given one last chance to share with the universe their parting thoughts. José Rivera asks, “Where do we go when we die?” and, if you were offered the chance to comment on your life, “What would you say about the life youʼve lived?” Part poetry, part magical realism, this dreamscape play offers profound insights and revelations.
SONNETS FOR AN OLD CENTURY is filled with poignant, funny, lyrical and haunting monologues from recently deceased individuals.
